Sooo this is the latest in the education sega.
I emailed my youth leader and told him I was interested in youth ministry - did he know of any good schools on the East Coast? Little did I know, he researched and phoned people and schools to find out for me (what a good guy!). Acadia, a school I've been eyeing, apparently has an excellent graduate program. What follows is my most recent education plan (that's lasted for almost two weeks now! Hurrah.):
- get accepted at Mount Allison in Sackville, NB.
- Go to Mount Allison for a BAH in Modern Languages and Literatures (French and Spanish).
- Do an exchange to France in second year, and hopefully to Spain in third year.
- Graduate and go to Acadia.
Plan B:
- Go to Waterloo for BAH in Peace and Conflict Studies, where I am accepted.
- Figure out a way to co-op in another country, or at least another province.
- Graduate and go to Acadia.
Yaaay! That day, I figured out my life in about 5 minutes. This way, I have two possible career paths. I think I'd really like to do the languages, but I guess we'll see...my mind is apt to change again before I have to make a final decision.
