adventuring around vb has proved great for the most part. we've met probably the most interesting, kind, and random people, also having run ins with police, parking lot brawls, and discussions with people philosophy for 2 hours. contact me if you want to join some time.
alex didnt have any money at deny's because his card wasnt working. so this guy came up, looked at the bill and payed it, probably one of the nicest acts of random kindness i've encountered in vb.
when we were bike riding at the board walk, we took a break and sat for a bit. these two guys came up to alex and i and we began talking about religion. they were christian ministers in a sorts of minister training. but what struck alex and i the most, was that they were incredibly open to atheist and agnostic opinions and beliefs. so it wasnt like a "hey convert to us'' type of discussion, but really just an incredible 2 hour discussion.
