Valkyrie ✧ Prelude, Act One [video]

[When the screen comes on (because yes, she actually managed to get it working) there is a video of the Valkyrie looking rather irritated, but determined.To the men who run this facility; I demand to see my husband. I have already gotten in contact with him and know that he is here, I wish to be by his side as soon as possible

"Please remove your clothing and deposit it in the hole in the wall." A section of wall slides away for this purpose.

"..." She is silent a moment before looking at the moving wall... "For what purpose? ...If I do this, will I be able to see Oswald?" Her priorities where at hand, but if all else failed she had a bit of a feeling that she wouldn't get much of a choice.

"Please remove your clothing and deposit it in the hole in the wall, or we will administer corrective action."

"..." The Valkyrie glared at the disembodied voice before shifting her clothing off of her body, stepping out onto the cold floor beneath her feet before placing the clothes in the aforementioned place.

She then shifted her arms awkwardly in a vain attempt to keep herself decent.

The hole seals up. Shortly, it unseals, offering forth a paper night gown, like they have in hospitals. Don't worry, the camera images won't be shared... for free. But there is a yearly calendar.

"What is your name?"

The gown was taken and looked over, but it took a brief moment for her to figure out how to properly wear it. "...I am Gwendolyn, daughter of King Odin."

"Here you will be known as SCP-2009. Where do you come from, 2009?"

[neverlovedawake]

"..." She wasn't even sure what that meant, but she decided to go with it for that moment. "...My home country is Ragnanival, just west of the forest of Elrit."

"On what planet?"

[neverlovedawake]

"...What 'planet'?" Her voice is quite obviously confused. Of course, this could be because she is from a time much further in the past. "There is only one land... Though I suppose it could be considered Erion?" That's as close as she'll be able to get to answering that question.

"What do you do?"

[neverlovedawake]

"I am a Valkyrie---mm... I was a Valkyrie; now I am the wife of the Shadow Knight."

[darksunlight]

"What do these terms mean?"

[neverlovedawake]

"...A Valkyrie is a warrior. We specialize in spears, as well as a few other abilities... My husband is a Shadow Knight... but that is his title because of his skills."

[darksunlight]

"What abilities? What skills? Please, be specific." He fears defying gravity is one of them, if that picture is any judge. At least in the chest region.

"A Valkyrie is only so powerful as her spear... if you could return my Psypher then I could show you. As well as with my Armor...I have the power of flight."
