Okay, I think I'm starting to get a feel for the situation, and I don't think I should have too much to worry about. In fact, I'd like to submit myself for experimentation. I could use some practice for my next encounter with my nemesis.

On an unrelated note, have my original clothes been evaluated yet?

Patience, patience. We're a teeny bit backlogged with all you newcomers right now, but your things will be processed as soon as we've got the immediate troubles all sorted out.

You're the... [sound of rustling papers] immortal, isn't that right?

It is, yes.

Define, please!

In terms of age? In terms of resilience?

In terms of both. No matter what happens, I'm unable to die.

Simple enough to test! Shall we begin?

[Whether or not she answers, a D-class bearing a small, sterilized knife is going to enter Mokou's cell in roughly six minutes.]

I'm sure I can find time in my busy schedule.

[Approximately five minutes and forty seconds into the future, a very nervous knife-bearing D-class wonders if he's about to get his face burned off by a touchy cosmic horror disguised as a weird little girl, just like Big Frank did last week. On Crisp's orders, he makes a slash at her upper arm.]

[Mokou offers her arm readily, making no sudden movements. If she's going to be experimented on, might as well be friendly about it.

As the incision is made, Mokou maintains a level expression. A thin line of blood flows down her arm normally, but after a few seconds, the cut is sealed, leaving no scar.]

Very good!

Deeper this time, I think. Right to the bone, now~

[The D-class looks somewhat disturbed by the situation, but chops into Mokou willingly enough.]

[All right, Mokou does flinch at that one, but not nearly as much as makes sense for having your arm cut down to the bone.

Predictably, it seals itself nearly.]

Practice time's over! Let's make it a nice clean cut to the throat.

[Clean in the sense of quick, naturally. There's a pretty big artery in there, after all.]

[Yeah, Mokou can't recover from that one fast enough to not die from it.

She still recovers, though!]

Impressive! Leave the knife in this time.

[The D-class does just that.]

[That one takes a bit longer! The wound seals up around the knife, then slowly pushes it out of her neck, before sealing again. Her eyes snap open the moment it's out.]

Are you getting the basic idea yet?

Yes, yes, I believe I am! Now that's enough of that method.

[A second D-class enters the cell, bearing a pistol.]

No need to bother with preliminaries. One shot to the heart, aimed... hmyes, point blank would be just about perfect!

[Assuming Mokou doesn't resist, this happens.]

[Mokou's expression is that of someone who isn't sure what a gun is, but can make a pretty good guess based on context. She smiles politely, right up until the bullet lodges itself in her heart, and she drops to the floor, dead.

The bullet is forced out of the wound 41 seconds later. As it emerges, one of her hands twitches slightly, and she's fully alive again within a few seconds of the bullet hole closing.]
