[Well, well, who's this? A small, compact man with golden eyes and the hair to match is peering at the lenses with his brow furrowed. It doesn't look like he has any idea that it's turned on, but hey. You never know. He fiddles with it, somehow equal parts interested and unimpressed.] ...the hell is this.

Yeaaaah, I get that. And I don't wanna toot my own horn here--but I will, favorite pastime and all that--but I've scuffled with a few "world-ending, everything-we-know-is-bee-ess" scenarios and it ain't all it's cracked up to be, believe you me.

Really? That kind of cool!

But... Swoop think it been this way for while. We missed action. And me no believe ones saying Swoop's life lie, anyway. Just that... we stuck here now, after nuclear holocaust, with people think we all bonkers. That important part, really.

I'm used to people thinking I'm bonkers, nothin' new going on there.

Nuclear holocausts are boring. Sounds like someone opened up the first rocket science book within reach and let'r rip.

This first time for Swoop. Is little bit annoying. And depressing.

Me no sure about details. No one talk about. Them may not even know what happen. Is seem kind of lame for end of world, though. Swoop know more interesting ways.

There are a lot more colorful ways to end all humanity, that's for sure.

Definitely. But Swoop kind of like humanity, mostly. Are interesting. Kind of fun.

[Also, he has human friends.]

Is sad, see them get ended.

Ain't that the truth. Lotsa fun to be had with those chuckleheads. [Musing thoughtfully.] Wonder how many are left...

Not so many, Swoop thinks. But maybe enough being interesting? Them pretty... [snort] ... entertaining so far.

Oh, they are always entertaining if you put 'em in just the right circumstances.

Oh? What right circumstances?

[Swoop's gotten all curious.]

National Enquirer circumstances. You know. Dingo-ate-my-baby, alien abducting, Freddy-vs-Jason-in-your-shower circumstances.
