003: [Video]
[The video starts featuring only the sky, and a few strands of Jack's platinum blonde hair. Then, Jack himself comes into focus. He'd finally gotten his ass into gear and gotten a "job" as a Bounty Hunter, and was confident enough in his abilities that he'd be good at it. It meant he wouldn't be sitting around with nothing to do, at least; and he could finally get his blade properly sharpened now that he had the licence to carry a weapon legally. Even if the process had taken forever. Baw, papers.]
[However, despite this he still didn't seem as happy about it as he could be. It didn't seem right... going forward without Rose. It was like he was leaving his life behind him. It was like trying to walk forward and drag a weight along with him at the same time. He had thought moving forward and going somewhere would feel good. Instead, it felt awful. When he speaks, it's obvious that he already knows the answer to his question... because he's watching for any signs of his future wife for weeks now. And yet, he still asks.]
...So... I just wondered... I mean, say someone came here and didn't announce their arrival. Is that... possible? Or... well, it's possible we'll miss a few people's broadcasts, right? I just... has anyone seen a woman with long brown hair and dark brown eyes, in like... a white suit? She's just a little shorter than me... her name is Rose... I don't have a photo or anything... but... believe me when I say she's beautiful...
[He pauses, staring off at nothing for a moment. He had never thought being without her for so long would be this hard. Motivating himself was getting more and more difficult. When he snaps out of it, he doesn't look back at the camera; rather, he looks away.]
I just wanted to know... she's very important to me... and if she is here, somewhere... I don't want her to be alone...
[He bites his lip, before switching the camera off.]
