MISSING SCHOOL TEACHER DREDGED FROM WATERY GRAVE

The body of local high school teacher was found on Wednesday evening by ACRO agents answering an emergency call from the two adolescent children who discovered it. Following the call in which the details surrounding the grisly find were explained by the panicked preteens, ACRO officers rushed downtown to the harbor where the heavily mutilated body of Sarah Abberline was discovered floating in the shallow end of the bay. Although in a waterlogged state of decomposition with teeth and fingertips forcibly extracted, coroners were able to successfully identify Ms. Abberline's remains, bringing an end to search that persisted for nearly a month by desperate family and friends.

Abberline, age 29, was reported missing on Thanksgiving by family members who attest to her disappearance as being connected to a recent personal ad on Eyewitness LTD. news network. "We spoke every day," sister Alberta confided in a recent interview. "Before she disappeared, she told me about a weirdo dating ad on the network. She thought it was a joke. I mean, so did I, and Sarah's always been the curious type...I don't doubt she would have messaged the guy just to see where it would lead." The ad in question, in which an anonymous male of 23 years requested casual sex from consenting and adventurous parties, was investigated by ACRO officers following the recovery of Ms. Abberline, and was discovered to be behind a wall of secure proxies which left the whereabouts and identity of the anonymous man unknown. "Whoever this creep was, he knew what he was doing and he didn't want to be found," commented ACRO agent Donald Dressen.

A biology teacher for St. Mark's Public School in upper Boston, Abberline lived alone and had no other immediate family members other than her sister and elderly mother. According to reports by faculty and family, she had been dating one Charles Green, 36, for several months before her untimely death. Although ACRO is concentrating their efforts on locating the anonymous man whose ad is believed to have some connection to Abberline's demise, officers are not ruling out the possibility of Green's involvement.

A private memorial will be held on Saturday for Ms. Abberline, attended by faculty, students and family.

IMAGO REPRESENTATIVE WOWS LODGE WITH DONATION

As the owners of the annual Snowcap Lodge discovered on Wednesday, some Christmas gifts don't have to be from below to come from the heart. A local ski and skating lodge beloved for accommodating children and adults of all ages with their homey atmosphere, group rates, and elaborate Christmas decorations, the Snowcap Lodge is a time honored tradition for Hub residents looking to kick off the holidays in style, though with the recent financial difficulties that have troubled the establishment for over a decade, its future has remained uncertain. Much speculation has arisen over the specific cause of this with many sources now confirming that persistent health problems that have plagued the Snowcap's owner, Joel Henderson of 40 years, for the past decade have finally caught up with him.

"The Snowcap Lodge is an independent business that runs on virtually no backing from the city government," explains Henderson's personal secretary, Lisa Pleasance. "Due to the advanced state of Mr. Henderson's heart condition and the overwhelming hospital bills he's had to contend with, his own personal funds are dwindling. Because we operate strictly in the winter, the funds we receive from admission and rental fees are underwhelming and insufficient."

With the gloomy future of the Snowcap uncertain, concerned citizens have come forth with donations in an attempt to keep the lodge alive for another year. So great has the outcry been for Snowcap's salvation that an unexpected savior has arisen in none other than official Imago spokesman, Ego. On Wednesday morning, Ego made an unannounced visit to the lodge and amazed the staff with the generous donation of $500,000, all for the sake of keeping the magic alive. When pressed for a comment, Ego had this to say:

"I've spent my entire life in Boston. We've had our share of amazing Christmas traditions, but none stood out for me as a child as much as drinking hot chocolate at the Snowcap Lodge did. Those were some of the finest memories I've had in this city, and it would break my heart to know that children might grow up without that. The same goes for our population of Awakened. Perhaps a visit to the lodge might reawaken some traces of their old selves."

Open from 8am to 11pm on weekends and weekdays, the Snowcap Lodge is can be visited at Reclamation Beach. Once thought to be an impractical location, visitors discovered that the beach's slopes and snowy terrain during the winter months has made the area into an ideal place for skiing and skating, adding to the lodge's charm.
