[The feed clicks on to Germany sitting at his desk, frowning and looking stressed as usual.]

...is there anywhere in this city that sells decent beer? [Obviously he's not expecting it to meet the standards of his own beer, but he hasn't had a drink for quite a while now.]

france (francis bonnefoy), red medic, north italy (feliciano vargas), !germany (ludwig)

Ohohon, can't seem to find any bière, mon chou?

[Francis finds your alcoholism adorable. even if he's a bit of a wino himself]

Oh, pauvre cher. [He's grinning though, he thinks it's cute.] Would you like me to help you look for some, Ludwig?

[France doesn't. He's tried constantly with Ludwig's brother but he just can't stand it. Wine has been and always will be his preferred drink.]

You needn't trouble yourself, France. I'm sure I'll find some sooner or later.

[His smile fades.]

... oh. Well. Good luck then, Allemagne.

[... I think he was hinting the two of you should hang out sometime, Germany.]

Danke schön.

[sadly, oblivious nation is oblivious. but he does notice france's smile fading.]

Er, how have you been doing anyway, France?

[He knows the response and it's gotten automatic at this point, so he says in his best German, which still has a bit of a French accent:] Bitte schön.

[He then switches back to English. He seems rather pleased that Germany asked.]

Well, I won the lottery here. A few more days of prep work and I will have my very own restaurant, and a place to stay on top of it. This town needs some good cooking, non?

[he nods in agreement.] It certainly does. Italy is constantly complaining about the quality of the food here... [eyeroll.]

Anyway, I wish you the best of luck. Running a business requires a great deal of work.

Well, bring Italie to my place once it is open. You'll have no complaints from him about the food quality! [He beams, his pride about his cooking shining through.]

[He laughs at Germany's comment.] Running a country requires a great deal of work, Allemagne. This is a piece of cake, particularly for someone with my culinary background.
