Christians Arrested Over Turkey Terror

Thanksgiving is the season when we give thanks for the little things, but nobody is thanking Michael Christian this afternoon after an ACRO bust on Mike's Exotic Animals. Mr. Christian has been breeding and selling illegal animals that have not been deemed safe for human consumption to the general public. What drew ACRO attention to him was an advertisement last week mentioning the animals he had for sale.

Mr. Christian's wife Margerella was also arrested for her attempt to destroy evidence following her husband's arrest earlier in the day. She was caught releasing more than a hundred turkeys into the city's streets in the evening after her husband's arrest, leaving none in custody but those animals that had been earlier frozen for human consumption.

The turkeys are not seemingly dangerous, though they can be violent, but ACRO warns that they should not be consumed pending further tests. An expert studying the animals had this to say: "While there is a great deal of meat on Mr. Christian's animals, what is inside betrays the truth. The turkeys have been heavily mutated to create the desired appearance, and as a result they are probably rather dangerous to eat. The problem is an overlarge dyspliotic spleen, which contains a psychotrophic fluid. If it isn't handled carefully during slaughter, the fluid may cause those eating them to have complications, or even in some cases may cause hallucinations."

ACRO and the BHA are offering a reward of twenty dollars for any animals - alive or dead - returned to BHA headquarters. For those that have not seen them, the turkeys have six legs, three wings and two beaks, and are easily recognised by their wide black feathers with white tips, as well as their distinctive 'gobble gobble' call.

When proper tests are complete, Mr. and Mrs. Christian and expected to face court for their criminal activity, though what charges are to be laid against them is yet to be disclosed by ACRO at this time and may depend on the number of animals recovered and the damage that they cause in the meantime.

Mayor Shepherd was eager to soothe any worries the public had: "During this holiday period we are usually very susceptable to this kind of scam, such as with last year's 'Thankgiving Fraud' at the Central and City Bank, but this is further proof that ACRO and the BHA are on hand to maintain public interests and protect our citizens from those who would otherwise take our money at the expense of our health and safety. We should continue to support them through this difficult holiday period and into the next year."

[ooc: yes, you're reading this right. THERE ARE MUTATED TURKEYS ALL OVER THE CITY, WATCHING YOU FAP]
