So I just got home fron
Jonathan's. I've been more occupied playing Harvest Moon for the SNES than I have for Final Fantasy XI for the computer. Shit, I might as well quit Final Fantasy XI if I'm not going to touch it anymore. I think I played it for an hour today to sell some stuff.
Going back on a video game rant, I never got a chance to play Harvest Moon when I was a kid, so I thought I'd give it a try while Jonathan has his SNES out. Harvest Moon is a farming game, where you're stuck on a rundown farm and you have to make something of yourself in two years before your folks come home. At first it's a lil' tideous, but once you clean up the farm, it really starts becoming fun. You grow vegetables during spring and summer and when you get enough money in the first year you can buy cows and chickens for their milk and eggs. Another fun feature is the option to get married in the game and eventually have children.
So far in the game, I married the devout mayor's daughter and currently have a baby on the way. (Hey, might as well knock her up right? Only time I'll get to play straight in my life.) It's fun. It's addicting. And I think there's another Harvest Moon game out for Game Boy Advance. I'll have to check EB Games and see what they have.
Backing up a bit, earlier this morning I watched Kill Bill Vol. 1 on DVD today that Andres bought me while he was here in North Carolina. I thought I was going to become bored again during the long fight scene between Uma Thurman and Lucy Liu's army of assassins, but I still enjoyed myself. Guess I'm looking forward to the second volume whenever that comes out.
Things seem kind of different between me 'nd him. Maybe it's just me. 'cause. Y'know. I'm weird. But something does feel different. Nothin' more to say about that, really.
