- Removed early style ECU cover plate and kick panel
- Swapped my worn out leather steering wheel for the plastic steering wheel from the 1993
- Painted driver side "baby tooth"
I decided that I am probably not going to swap my carpet (even though I'd really like to replace it with something nicer) with the 93 carpet after all, because it's too much work for minimal benefit. If I were swapping dashboards, I'd consider it, but it's just simpler to keep my crappy carpet rather than swap in some not-as-crappy carpet and have to lose the leg room. I went ahead and replaced my steering wheel with the wheel from the 93 though. It was interesting to note that while the airbags were similar (and should be plug-and-play), the older airbag actually looked like it was of a higher manufacturing quality. However even though it should be fine to use either air bag, I opted to keep my original air bag since it is the one that came with the car and because it was manufactured more recently than the other air bag.
