2008.12.21 - Modified Fuel Filler Protection Plate
- Cut, bent/shaped, painted, and reinstalled the fuel filler protection plate in trunk
I modified the metal plate that bolts into the trunk to protect the fuel filler hose so that I now have room to reach in and adjust the Tein shocks. I have put all of my junk back in the trunk again, with the exception of my spare tire. It appears to press against the adjustment knob and rod of the passenger side shock, so I am a little bit nervous about putting it back in, at least not until I make some changes in order to give the shock more room. I think I might look into the possibility of relocating the spare to mount beneath the trunk rather than inside of it.
