I purchased some "Neoform" wiper blades for the Miata from work. I will need new wiper blades soon and I can see that the failure point of my current blades appears to be at the "pinch" points on the blades, so between my employee discount, a NAPA rebate, and a Trico rebate, it definitely seemed like a worthwhile idea.
+$25.94 - Pair of 18" Neoform wiper blades
-$20.00 - NAPA Rebate
-$20.00 - Trico Rebate
+$0.84 - postage
-13.22 >> WIN!
It's nice to get paid to try out new (and possibly superior) technology. And I've got to say that I would never have given these a try (even with my discount) if not for the rebates. These things retail for about $25 each, which is absolutely ridiculous for something that will degrade and need replaced so quickly due to the UV radiation and various chemical pollution that vehicles in this area are subjected to.
"The check is in the mail," as they say, on the rebates though, so for now I will only record the purchase expense.
