I returned the "black" floor mats to Rosenthal Mazda and got store credit on them, so I decided that now would be a good time to pickup some new rear weatherstrip and window moulding for the top (so that it will be almost like brand new once it's repainted). I also got a new trunk lock since mine is beginning to fail, and some new clips where the washer fluid hose attaches to the bottom of the hood.
I have two minor complaints about this transaction:
(1) The new clips (from an NB model, I think) are actually noticeably larger than the original clips. This is my fault for not paying closer attention though, and they will actually still work just fine if I switch to a more traditional rubber washer fluid hose.
(2) The trunk lock was invoiced for $69.95 but the price advertised on the website is $64.95. This is probably due to the way the items were added to the invoice (I think the website invoices have a built-in discount), and it's not exactly a major issue, but it's still a minor annoyance. $5 isn't much these days but it's still $5 that I could have saved if they had been more conscientious when building my invoice.
Tomorrow I will see about getting the new trunk lock keyed to my car and maybe even install it if the weather is nice.
