2011.01.11 - Washer Nozzle Hose
- Replaced and rerouted windshield washer nozzle hoses
- Modified cowl cover to cope with newly rerouted washer nozzle hoses
I wanted to reroute my washer nozzle hoses because the OEM routing created a noticeable pressure drop on the driver's side nozzle. Additionally, my washer nozzle hoses were pretty patchy looking, so I got some new hose and hooked everything up the way I prefer it instead. I also discovered that the clips that hold the hoses against the hood are very brittle after 14 years and I accidentally broke a couple of them. :( I have replaced them with zipties for the time being. Once I got everything hooked up, I had to add a little bit more clearance in the cowl cover for the nozzles and hoses.
