2010.05.05 - Interior Panels (Paint)

- Painted spare kick panels red

I'm planning to cover the door cards with red vinyl, and I realized that the interior panels need to be red to match. I've got some metallic red paint that is just about perfect, so I cleaned up the kick panels, sprayed them with adhesion promoter, white primer, and the metallic red paint. My initial impression is that this will turn out very well. (^_^)

However, the top half of the rear panels will need to be black in order to continue the line of black around the top edge of the belt line. I thought about a few different methods for doing this and finally decided that black Plasti-Dip is probably going to give my the best looking finish.
