I've always wondered what this switch does which is placed way above my head. I just happened to notice it that day and wondered for all these years since I was little what it was for. So I finally went to my mom and asked her and she said it was the switch for the air conditioning unit behind the wall. Ha! Mystery solved, although not a really interesting one. hehe
