Ok, I'm starting to get the hint, from the emails, the posts. Ya'll want somethin' from Thailand. In all honesty, I haven't bought anything yet, so go ahead and post what you would like. THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES, especially because of luggage space. So please don't expect, be more on the suprised side. But that will help me no what to buy when the time of souveneir purchasing comes (which aren't really souveniers to me anymore, but you'll enjoy). And please leave elephants, large mats, and people off the list.

Sorry it's been so long since I've updated, so many cool and yet difficult things are happening. I've been doing a lot of stuff in the studio for the song that I'm recording and others songs as well. The leader of this school has is own home recording studio, with some similar equipment as me and he makes really good recordings. Each student chooses a song that they wrote from the school and Paul records it. I've been involved with almost all of the songs; you'll hear it when I get back. So I'm learning a lot of things that I will be able to use back home when I start working on my album and a couple of songs for David, but for the most part, I still don't know what I'm doing.

It was really cool though because this week we had an awesome guy come and teach on songwriting. This guy works for grammy and is a top dog in the business who is pretty much the musical standard when talking about Thailand music. He didn't really go deep into songwriting but what he said to me really changed my outlook on starting my recording. A group of us were eating lunch with him and I told him about my current recording studio situation. I told him I hadn't done that much cause I don't know what I want and what to do to get what I want when I actually find out the thing that I want (I'm confused, but I think you get the point). Then he told me what he did when he first started (over 20 years ago), he wrote ten songs and walked into a studio and just started recording. He didn't know what he was doing, but he started from there. And he said to me that you will never know what you are doing the first time; you just got to do it. That really hit me, it made sense. So when I get home, I'm just going to start. It won't be the greatest thing that I will create, but that's where I've got to start.

Anyway, alot good stuff, my outlook is continually being changed; change is good. I'm leaving for outreach soon, in about two weeks, I'll be teaching on worship and intercession, (we all chose a topic that we are going to teach for the different churches and seminars that we go to). I wish I had more experience in this area, but I know I will grow a lot in it from studying it.

Things are well and difficult. I've been tired all week, and I learned something about myself: I NEED SLEEP. I don't do well when I'm tired. I get cranky and smaller things that don't really matter bother me. I'm feeling much better now, but it's always hard seeing areas in your life that you need to work on. The more I learn about God and myself the more I see how much I need Him.

God is good, family is good, friends are good, being an uncle is good,

Life is just good

Love you all and please give me ideas for what I can buy in Thailand.
