Being sick is lame. I hate having to drop everything to stay home and watch the evil tube of nothingness that sits in my living room. I have so much school stuff to do and it's taking me twice as long as it should. I was also really looking forward to leading worship this Sunday. It was cool workin' with the band during practice and setting up some arrangements. Unfortunately my voice was shot and I still had a massive headache, so pastor Andy, whom I respect and love, took my place (sorry P. Don). I'm sure it was awesome.

Ok, I'm finished complaining. There are more good things in life than bad, sometimes getting the bad out of the way allows us to focus upon the good again (as long as we get it out of the way and not dwell on the bad).

ATF: very cool. So many things that I could talk about, but one thing in particular is stuck in my head. Ron talked about endurance. He talked about Jesus on the cross. In movies, Jesus hung on the cross for ten-twenty minutes. However, the bible states the time that He was hung and the time that he died. According to mathematics, Jesus hung on the cross for approximately six hours. Jesus spoke seven phrases, which took about one minute too two minutes of His time upon the cross. This means that for 5 hours and 59 minutes of the time Christ hung upon the cross, He was silent. Whoa, Ron called this silent dignity. Jesus truly endured the pain of the cross.

The coolest thing Ron said was "unless the situation is difficult, you're not truly enduring". The bible has many scriptures about endurance. Often times, Christians "fall out" when the situation becomes difficult. The bible says to endure, and if the moment or situation is easy, then it's not truly endurance. When times are difficult and the temptations seems unbearable, it's not that God has left us, or that even we are not "being spritual"; Christ is calling us to endure, infact, that time of endurance allows for growth, and displays spiritual maturity or immaturity depending which path we endure: the straight and narrow, or the wide and broad.

Sweet stuff, hope you're all encouraged. Have a blessed week. Peace out homies
