Cookbook Update! And a video!
Hello, lovely cookbook denizens! Just a note from your friendly neighborhood Head Minion In Charge of Cookbook. We're doing swimmingly over here - mucho thanks to those of you who have contributed, mucho thanks to those of you testing.
I'm happy to announce that we currently have 113 recipes for the cookbook, covering everything from appetizers and drinks to breads and desserts. We're still very happily accepting recipes in ALL CATEGORIES, so if you have one, please feel free to send it to azriona@gmail.com. Please include your LJ handle and the name you'd like to use as credit, as well as any photographs if you happen to have them. Please put "recipe" in the subject.
I'm also happy to announce that we have 26 recipes tested, with plenty more in the testing queue. Testers, please remember to fill out the testing form when you are done testing your recipe! (I'll even embed it for you beneath the link if you're ready to fill it out now!) Okay, embedding didn't seem to work. The link does, though. Go to the link.....go to the link!!!! This form is how we know you're done with what you need to do - please fill out this form REGARDLESS of whether or not the recipe works, or you intend to try it again!
And, in honor of Halloween coming up....I don't know about you, but my favorite candy at this time of year is candy corn. I love the stuff. I found a recipe for making it from scratch - but it just wouldn't be the same, would it?
Anyway, in case you ever wanted to know how those yummy little kernels of sugary delight are made:
