ahhh, the quiet friday
so i havnt really been doing too much, which i guess is a good thing. last night was off the hook, party in 307Putnam. today i cleaned up the room, did laundry, worked out, that kinda stuff.
i called brooke last night. i needed to put the storms behind us. we love each other, and now that i understand what ive gotta do, its easier. especially since ive accepted it too. were not hiding from each other anymore either, which is such a relief. her away message is about pie. "pie?!..." wow, i love how she still makes me smile.
me and lacey have evolved from this turbulance too. she came out to me with the desire that one day, she wants to finish what me and her started so long ago. but were not making any plans. our best chance is the POSSIBILITY that shes going to u of m and im stil here in ypsilanti next year. but neither one of those colleges are our first choices, so if something does happen, the chance of it is extremely rare. and for now, nothing else has really changed too much. wait. she likes porn now. thats about it.
ive adopted this midset thats probably real similar to brooke's. im single, but not looking. if something lands in my lap ill check it out, but no plans and nothing serious. and anyone who does fall in my lap, will know my game plan on day one.
ive stopped the painfull art. im searching for something true now. by that, im looking for real-world inspiration instead of inner-feeling inspirations. those dont get me anywhere but farther down into a hole.
it smells good outside. somebody had a binefire upwind, and it was great. i want to go camping tomorrow. sometime, me and matt ferdette have gotta get together and find a public campsite and enough beer to last us the weekend. (matt, if this appeals to ya, let me know)
i think im going to adopt helen and joe. lately, we've decided that next year i should go in with a few ppl for an apt in town, kinda near campus, and so they could come over every other day for food. if that does happen, im gunna start up some open poker nights too. matt(who gets his liscense monday, im so psyched) could really use some poker and beer every friday or so. we could possibly share the truck, too. who knows. helen and joe would love the fact i have my own place in town with a kitchen. theyre mom is gunna have to pay me child support for all their meals lol.
the new workout plan starts monday. if you all wonder why im not up past 12, its because im kickin my own ass until these abs are able to crush cans.
i should get back on the christmas-present-making train...
