My heart tells me I want to to math. My grades tell me I'm good at math. My head keeps asking "what the hell would I do with a math major?"

So many classes I have to ask myself "what does this teacher want from me?" and I'm never quite certain. In my math class the answer is always straightforward. Do the problems. Which is why I like physics, with the exception of those moments where the English language fucks up the point.

It's funny how our minds can do incomprehensibly complicated mathematics in the blink of an eye. The ability to catch a ball is absolutely ridiculous in terms of all the math required to calculate all of the necessary mechanics and optics, but what would take a lifetime to calculate symbolically, our minds do nearly instantly.
