I'm hoping that the 7 or 8 episode arc for Jericho will prove a good industry model - I'd love to see shows that are more tightly written, rather than padded up to 20 episodes with nothing episodes. I got the job :) It's not theatre manager though, sadly... that'd be too much fun ;) I'm a performance manager, officially - responsible for reporting our team's performance, constructing internal business agreements, that sort of thing. Mostly, I deal with silly questions :P That and do project reporting, write briefs and presentations, that sort of thing. It's a huge salary bump up to the next grade though - my pay's been screwed over by the current government repeatedly, and after five years in grade I was only one step above the bottom of the pay band, which means the bottom of the band I've moved up to was well above my currently salary. Hello, 25% payrise :)
