We're all tired of talk when it comes to shove.

Over the last couple of days I think i've been the most social since I can remember. Thursday I was roused from my lackadaisical dawdling by the sound of Danny's voice calling by the open window of my homestead. Groggily peering out the window whilst clad in simply a pair of keen boxers, methodically donning my casual attire as my mother stepped out to run an errand, much to my surprise, allowing both my comrade and Danny to barrel upstairs and into my homestead. Indolently gazing up at them from my computer chair as they darted around my apartment like hares on speed, finally we departed as I laid eyes on Danny's new car for the first time. Mildly rough maneuverability, otherwise quite nice, although i'm not really one to talk, I don't even own a vehicle, yet. Making a pit-stop at a grocery store, my comrade and I aided Danny in picking out a small rose for his newly acquired beau, which he then preserved by sticking the stem in his half-filled water bottle. Lounging comfortably in the back seat as my comrade occasionally shrieked at a passerby out the open window of the passenger seat, soon I was relayed the information of the agenda involving an old colleague of my comrade, aptly deemed Diablo.

Driven out to nearby Geneva, we three rendezvoused with Diablo within the confines of his residence, gathering in his cluttered room. Empty alcohol bottles littered the floor and tables, along with cigarettes and half-devoured slices of pizza. Prior to laying in bed with his underaged girlfriend Danny secretly named "Bowser", Diablo set up a video of himself and other various young men engaging in backyard wrestling. Cringing every time someone in the video had a light-bulb smashed against their face, or a thumbtack bat being jabbed into their chest, eventually both my comrade and Danny wandered the messy room whilst picking up random keepsakes, idly feeling a tad awkward as Diablo's girlfriend seemed to go out of her way to catch my gaze. Eventually the three of us awaited outside Diablo's residence as he and Bowser lagged to retrieve a few more things from his house, eventually we set out in both vehicles, us three in Danny's car as Diablo rode with Bowser. Unfortunately for Danny, he hadn't the foggiest how much of a maniac Diablo was on the road when it came to speeding, therefore he struggled to keep up while nearly blowing red lights and sharply cutting people off. Finally, the intense chase came to an end as we came upon an area occupied by mischievous-looking degenerates, habitually spitting to the side and quoting lyrics from degrading rap songs. Needless to say, I knew right off the bat this was a group of go-getters.

As we socialized with the group and conversed to be friendly, eventually Danny took his departure due to his parents being more strict about curfew. Our initial source of transportation for the occasion no longer available, we were forced to depend on Diablo for our ride. My comrade and I coveting a spot against Diablo's car to sit, people seemed compelled to gravitate towards us. Much confusion soon followed as I continuously avoided Bowser's wandering gaze, eventually having to depart from the group of degenerates whom did absolutely nothing but walk up and down the street, retrieving a midget blowup doll with a hole torn in it from the trunk of someone's car. My comrade hell-bent on us attending a party, eventually persuading Diablo to stay with us as we hunted for any sort of party involving alcohol and whatnot. Stopping briefly at the cozy apartment of a former acquaintance of my comrade's and Diablo's, meeting a rather scary pudgy guy with glasses and no shirt, thankfully we left and came back to Diablo's homestead, my comrade and I blending in the shadows beside his residence while he snuck out to meet us. Soon met with the predicament of parties being canceled, we were forced to settle with being given a ride to a bonfire by two flamboyant young men, both named Mike. As the Mikes drove us to the bonfire, this hideous guy came out of nowhere, high as a kite, and spoke in a squeaky voice about getting high and seeing breasts. Herbs having been brought to the bonfire, we left as my comrade and I were faced with a different predicament; having no where to sleep for the night.

Dropped off a short distance from Diablo's residence, he bid us good-bye for the night as he gave us directions of a nearby park. Wandering the streets of Geneva, my comrade and I walking in circles before we finally found an area of closed stores, managing to purchase us a few cheap soda's from a vending machine before we trudged back off into the night. Randomly deciding to call Serena, however in my state my mind wasn't necessarily functioning properly, so I inadvertently hung up on her. Lurking through neighborhoods, eventually we found the park, the grass covered in a layer of cool dew. Unable to sleep, we spent all night and morning conversing and watching the wildlife explode with dawn, rabbits hopping around and birds chirping away as they swooped overhead. My comrade and I looking like the undead, we shuffled back to the stores and managed to buy two sausage McSomethings from McDonalds, stealing a cup that held coffee stirrers and using that as our drinking cup. Shuffling back to the park, eventually Diablo came and drove us home, where my comrade took a short nap, I, on the other hand, slept none the entire day. Showering, I awaited my comrade to pick me up for a sleep over at his residence, however those plans were put on hiatus as in the middle of my shower, none other than my transient friend Rich decided to pay me a visit.

Quite bewildered by his presence, I nigh rolled my eyes as he pleaded with me to purchase cigarettes for him. Strolling back to the City Hall parking lot, I became acquainted with an old friend of his named Chris, and a girl from Larkin named Sarah. With having absolutely no intention of lingering with the group, however the Camaro which belonged to Chris soon managed to impress me with it's explosive acceleration, apparently the unspoken and somewhat reserved Chris having been a racer. Rich's persistence prevailed as he managed to keep me with the group until practically eleven at night, seeming overwhelmingly depressed just because he couldn't find a dealer for hash. Unfortunately, Rich's idea of a good day is smoking as much hash as possible throughout the day. Functioning without sleep for two days, I felt the fatigue begin to wear me down as I was driven back home, a very persistent Rich attempting to persuade me to spend the night at his residence, however since I had already made plans, that simply wasn't going to happen. As I was driven home, managing to rid of both Rich and Chris, my comrade came and picked me up, much to my dismay, wanting to hang out with Rich and Chris. Aside from the Chris fellow being a rather cool guy, I had endured quite enough of Rich's idiocy in questioning me as to why he and my comrade drifted apart.

Reluctantly agreeing to see both Rich and Chris again, still feeling weary from my lack of sleep as we gathered in my comrades garage, drinking strong alcohol as Rich became a freaking motormouth, chattering away with reckless abandon, I simply groaned and zoned out so that the sound of his voice soon became nothing more than an incoherent noise going in one ear and out the other. Eventually, after the four of us conversed of old times, both Chris and Rich departed for the night, and finally I escaped the clutch of insomnia and achieved a long-awaited and well deserved night of slumber. Awakening and feeling as if i'd never slept at all, drowsily I shuffled through my comrade's nigh empty homestead in simply my shirt and boxers, eventually dressing as I was driven home. Much later that night, I was unexpectedly contacted by the beloved Serena as she relayed the information of plans to visit the very awesome Melanie the next day, that which I was most certainly eager to do.

Rendezvousing with Serena at the nearby Recreational Centre, only then was I aware that we would be accompanied by Lauren, Cat, and Cat's friend, whose name I don't think I ever caught. Reading off directions from the piece of scrap paper Serena scribbled down on, it took us nigh three hours to weave through the city, Serena demanding I call Melanie using her cellular phone every few seconds to clarify directions. As the girls spoke of making out, and why it's so much easier to determine when guys are sexually satisfied rather than girls, I shrunk back into the seat and listened to the headphones Lauren gave me which blared the cocaine song, which has a rather catchy techno beat with lyrics about having your face in the pillow and ass in the air, except the girl in the song asking if you know what it's like to 'fuck on cocaine' sounded.. a little scary. As we continually found ourselves lost amongst the crazy roads which were all under construction at the most inconvenient time, somehow we found ourselves pulling down the street of Melanie's neighborhood as she laid out in the grass of the bank of her lawn. Looking radiant as ever as she greeted us and welcomed us into her homestead. Unsure of our plans, everyone deciding to go to Subway as Melanie showcased her stick-shift driving ability which freaked the hell out of both Cat and her friend. Attempting to visit a few beaches, since hearing about Melanie and her frequent visitations to the beach, i've wanted to check that out, however supposedly you have to pay to get out of your car and step on to the beach, so we basically said screw that. Finding a nice little park, all went well aside from a few of us swearing while innocent little kids were running around. All in all, very much fun at Melanie's house, also having managed to psyche them out at pool and wrestle Serena a little all around the pool table before eventually we all had to go. Surprisingly, when we strayed off course, Lauren somehow guided us home using her super-human senses that she somehow acquired.

Ever just look at someone and know deep down they're out of your league?

Alas, now I bask in the subconsciousness of my slumber.
