So, I got summoned to court as a witness against Andre the taxi driver because he stalked some bird I had met like twice, then sent my brother death threats because he thought my brother was knobbing her, when in fact he never met her. Ok weird enough. Now the day they want me in court happens to be a day that I am working. I kindly asked the prosecution if I can avoid going and she said under no circumstances. I said I would not be going to court because by skipping work I would cost the production company around 15 grand and therefore make them not happy with me and probably never get me to direct anything ever again. Then she said if I didn't go a warrant would be issued for my arrest, two cops would rock up to my set, arrest me on the spot and make me spend a night in jail before attending the magistrates court in the morning charged with interfering with a trial!! What the fuck kind of system is this? Hello dickheads, I'm a witness... I'm helping you!!!
Then I said well fine I'll withdraw my statement or stand mute. Same deal! They'll charge me!! What the fucking shit man?!!!! Ok a word of advice... next crime you see, be it shop-lifting , murder, or act of necrophilia, say you didn't see anything to avoid the legal system grabbing you by the balls and saying "You have no rights and belong to me, pleb!"
