Weekend Update
Saturday I had a great massage session with Lt. Scott psifire. I say great instead of good because it really seemed to be just what the doctor ordered for him and he's still crowing about it a day later which makes me very happy.
I was invited to Cadet Chris kubstar's birthday party so after the rubbins I went and had dinner with a fine buncha folks (including Ensign Mike neviragin, Ensign Jeff briefscub, Lt. Mikey wolfpup76, and Ensign bhuel) at Scalini's in Marietta where we tried our best to balance poking fun at our birthday boy with having a good time overall, and I think a good time was had by all.
Then I'd been invited to hang out over at Cadet John johnjohn20 's with Lt. Bryan bryan_atl and Ensign Blake hitopcub so I went and watched them play Wii, we went on a milkshake run (no really, from Steak and Shake!) and watched some telly and chatted. Always nice to hang out with them - good humor, low maintenance and no drama. I think those will be my watchwords for 2007.
Sunday I went to brunch with Magister Robmonarchprime (also at Steak and Shake, maybe I should buy stock), and then it was D&D time with our spell-flingin' posse. We got off to a shaky start but eventually whupped ass however the main baddy got away and one of our guys took an eternal dirt nap. Lucky for us all he's being reincarnated by his diety. ;)
Now I'm working on the family holiday cards -- which they didn't ask me to do til after Thanksgiving -arg! BTW, I don't send cards usually - so if you get one you're either a client or I've been possessed. I LOVE getting them but I just can't seem to make myself send them. I won't think any less of you if you don't send me one, but if you do it will be prominently displayed on the mantle over the fireplace along with Ensign Mark mark_monroe's and Ensigns Nick gummydragon & Kenny utgummybear's.
