This is primarily for my brother, but if any of the rest of you are a fan of politically and socially conscious hip-hop, check this out. Patrick gave me an album of Black Star's b-sides and rarities, and this song was on it. It was originally on the album, "The Price of Freedom," a compilation of original music responding to the shooting death of African immigrant Amadou Diallo, who was gunned down in the Bronx by four white police officers in 1999. He was unarmed at the time, and shot 19 times. Anyway, this song is called, "Make It All Better" and it has just become my new favorite song. I have seriously been listening to it on repeat for the last three days. LOVE it. If you're not a hip hop fan, you won't give a shit, but I want my brother to hear it. John, it's totally worth the wait for it to load, or if you can bring headphones to campus and listen to it there, it's definitely worth the trouble. It blew me away. LOVE it. Even more than I love "Respiration" or "The Proud" and that's saying a lot.
