Atlantis 1.11 Hunger Pangs

Yes, he was hungry, but it was hard to sympathise with Jason the thief.

Blah blah mopey!drunk!Hercules.

Homoerotic subtext flying about.

A very Welsh Atlantean.

Rats!

No animals were harmed in the making of this show (except maybe for meat, point out vegetarians).

A more than shirtless Jason! Somehow he resists stealing someone’s clothes again so there can be more homoerotic subtext.

What’s the Greek for werewolf?

Remember the palace and how Pasiphae is poisoning Midas? It's been a while, but it's still happening.

I still love the blue of the Royal ladies' garments.

Who do they know who has silver?

Hi, Ariadne, don’t trust the new maid who says you can trust her.

Timekeeping, boys! Oh no, the dread behind the furniture transformation...didn’t materialise. Although plenty of other werewolf cliches did.

I don’t quite get why they couldn’t have let Ariadne see him except PLOT REASONS.

That was very trusting of her. But it’s one thing to trust Pythagoras and another to trust the new maid replacing the one PASIPHAE HAD KILLED.

Anyway, the dog got loose.

Amateur silversmiths!

Are you sure it was Jason? Yes, it was.

That was an exceptionally silly episode, although I did smile at some of the cartoonish elements, especially as played by Addy and Emms. I suspect I’d have been a lot more aggrieved had I watched it live and not caught up while needing a distraction. But the next episode needs to be better.
