The Secret Garden
In The Garden: ygrawn Mary/Dickon
A gorgeous sequel to the book in which Mary and the others grow up, written with the care and love that that garden deserved.
Smallville
The Martinelli Affair: linda-seton
Great interaction between Lex and Chloe (from early seasons) that never loses sight of who the characters are as they work together to solve a problem.
I Drive the Car: Dyce
Season 1 Chloe and Lex (could be seen as Chloe/Lex if you squinted) where Chloe inveigles Lex into helping her investigate something.
"Nope. I'll give you a hint. You need hiking boots for it." Chloe smiled sunnily. Surprise him. Intrigue him. Reeeeeel him in...
There's a real lightness and a groundedness to the writing.
You'd Better Not Go Down To The Woods Today: Dyce
There's a cracky element to the sequel, but it's a fun ride with some nice character touches (Protective!Lex, Owning her bitchiness!Chloe).
Coffee, Right in Your House: Dyce
Chloe, Lex friendship, sequel to above following 'Vortex', so there's something of (another) change in tone, but understandably so. I just love the way they are around each other here.
Star Trek - The Next Generation
Lullabye: cosmic_llin
The crew of the Enterprise and the children in their care.
This song can make me cry on its own, but I always found it interesting (and great because of my age when I watched the show) that TNG had children on board and dealt with what that meant. This vid is a great overview with a lot of tenderness to it.
Star Trek - Deep Space Nine
I Wish I Was James Bond: kuwdora
Fun (and more than that) Julian-centric vid.
Star Trek - Enterprise
Unfelt: voleuse
Trip/T'Pol ficletty goodness.
In this White Wave: anr
Trip/T'Pol, post 3.05.
There's a lot he always thought impossible about T'Pol.
Trip, despite himself, finding out how much he respects and cares for T'Pol when she's not her baseline self.
Step Up 2 - The Streets
Lessons: hariboo-smirks
Andie/Blake, her POV of the after school sessions. I love how this grows out of who Andie is and the physicality of it and the role that Chase plays here.
The Right Stuff: the yummy pencil
Ficlet in which Director Collins considers Andie. Good Blake voice - it left me wanting more.
The Sound of Music
Tiny Dancer: charmax
This shouldn't work, but it does, and it's a delight.
