The 2008 fandom meme picked up from fabu

Your main fandom of the year? To read in, Harry Potter. I only began reading fic after DH, and it's of such a size and I'm interested in so many aspects (ships) of it that I expect that will continue to be true all through 2009. I was well obsessed by Strictly Come Dancing, mind.

Your favourite film watched this year? As previously discussed, Wall-E.

Your favourite book read this year? The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer.

Your favourite album or song to listen to this year? I fell in love with Snowflake Midnight by Mercury Rev. And my favourite song would be Fascination by Alphabeat.

Your favourite TV show of the year? Pushing Daisies or Burn Notice.

Your favourite LJ community of the year? Various ones at various times. I did start fantasising, whenever I'd been offline for a bit, of a me-specific newsletter that collected all the Fic I'd Want To Read, Meta I Shouldn't Miss, Important News and Miscellany for me from the occasionally overwhelming f-list.

Your best new fandom discovery of the year? Newish - catching up on The West Wing and Arrested Development on DVD (both of which are excellent) meant that I could read fic, some of which was excellent.

Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year? Heroes. The cancellation of Pushing Daisises and the subsequent rehiring of Bryan Fuller didn't do much for me, unless if he can argue for a big old Reset Button.

Your TV boyfriend of the year? Off the top of my head. The Palace's Prince/King Richard. Especially in jeans. Agent Casey. There were more!

Your TV girlfriend of the year? Flash Gordon's Baylin. (Although Burn Notice's Fiona had her moments.)

Your biggest squee moment of the year? Most of Burn Notice. Austin's paso in Strictly...

The most missed of your old fandoms? I dabble in most of the old fandoms I'm still interested in, though I wish I had been able to catch up with Bones.

The fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to? Brain freeze.

Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year? Dollhouse. Hopefully True Blood will get picked up somewhere in the UK. Seasons 2 of Burn Notice and Pushing Daisises. A few films: Push, HP6, Wolverine.
