Had a trying afternoon, so it was a treat to find out that the Inspector Lynley repeat was the one with Richard Armitage (see icon.)
I don't have much to add to
my initial review, much the same things applied. RA's accent sounded a bit dubious compared to other people, but we'll just say that that's Thornton's imprint. Being rude about Helen's similarity to a horse was fun. And Havers was great, brave and strong and wearing her ridiculously hideous jacket to a funeral. All this repeating is reminding me to wonder when the next series is going to be aired; hopefully, it'll be before Nathaniel Parker's hair turns grey (or maybe it already has and he's dyeing it.) Hmm.
(PS as for the title of this entry, this show loves its car cruising through the countryside as much as Supernatural does. Oh yes it does. And as there are no add breaks, I bet we get more car shots in Lynley than SPN.)
