I was always going to be a sucker for the premise, but the script was really sharp.
As for that young man, I imdbed him to check he was over 16, (think he was 18 or 19 filming the movie) in what is known as the Sean Biggerstaff manouvre.

I rented it for the sake of some youngins I was looking after and was expecting a Herbie Fully Loaded type debauchery to unfold... but it was surprisingly good. If there is a sequel, a little less Spy Kids and a little more Singer's X-Men or - in Disney terms - Pirates of the Caribbean probably wouldn't hurt. Warren's dad seems ripe for sequel (villain) fodder. Then again, maybe that's just Mrs. Robinson talking again (Warren's dad as villain = more Warren).
If so Warren's dad seems ripe for sequel (villain) fodder. Then again, maybe that's just Mrs. Robinson talking again (Warren's dad as villain = more Warren). sounds like a good idea tome - if for nothing else, he'd be a good figure to bring in the kids and adults in one plot. And Warren could brood and scowl and snark...
