Nah, it was always stalling and stuff back when I worked there...

ANYWAY.

Uhhh... because... um...

If there're other people... I guess the elevator would be going all the way up anyway, so... um... it'd be like, using the power? But if there was nobody else, he'd be using electricity just to go up by himself.

So uh... maybe he doesn't wanna waste electricity unless a bunch of other people are going up to begin with?

... I guess that doesn't address the rain part, though...

Haha, you are correct! The man is indeed a midget. Do you mind to explain as to why he may be only to take the elevator if it is raining or not though? [for extra boosting and a cherry on top!]

Well if they're all in a row going up, and he was really short, he wouldn't be able to reach the top unless he had a stick or something to press the button with!

And if it was raining, he'd have an umbrella.

And you are completely right! Like you have described, the man is indeed a midget or just very short. He will need something to push the buttons at the top and on a rainy day, an umbrella will be just that "something". Congratulations, Miss Mason. Another puzzle solved.
