[It's finally day time and the fog has finally disappeared. And like a lot of the other people here sending in relief messages all over the network, Professor Hershel Layton is doing the same.
The camera shakes for a few seconds and there's a horrible muffling sound as the Professor is positioning his gear once again. He really made it a habit to

Are you harmed, Miss Kazehana? I hope not.

[She shakes her head.]
No, I'm not. Shinjiro-Senpai was with me when everything happened. And you, Layton-San?

[Ahhh, and now the question is turned back towards him. Well...See those hands of his and those little bandages people only use for paper cuts? Yeah...it's all over. Totally trying to act normal.]
I am...fine, at the very least. Just a few cuts, but overall, I'm good. Luke thankfully stopped me before...things escalated...
Where are you now, Miss Kazehana? In Violet City or still on Route 31?

You too, huh?
[okay, well, he isn't gonna ask since Layton requested not to, but he only caught a handful of the messages in his pants-finding rampage. This confirms that it was more widespread than he thought.]
I caught one o' them skulls too. I figure we cleanin' up the streets that way.

[The Professor nods. Yes, unfortunately, him too.]
But ah, you caught one of these skull-like Pokemon as well, my boy? They seem all over the place.

[at least, that's what he's been informed]

Ah, I have heard of that. I am not surprised. Quite a few of them were rather, erm, enjoying all of this.
[Such as popping out of nowhere and going "BOO WHAT'S UP SHITTING YOUR PANTS I SEE WELP I'M GOING TO SCARE OTHER PEOPLE NOW" to the Professor quite a few times.]
But yes, I will try my best to teach this Pokemon some manners. It cannot go around scaring others now. I assume you will do the same?

[... totally cheerful about all this now that it's over, yup.]

Oh dear, that didn't sound too good. I trust you are fine now, my boy?

[Though why would someone be shooting you? Y'know what, this is starting to make his head hurt...]
Is the fog over in your area all cleared up? Route 30 and 31 seems fine here.

And it's quite relieving to see you in good health as well, Miss Tenjoin. I trust you escaped all of this nightmares safely?

Not entirely, but I'm all right now.

That's good to hear. I am afraid that these ghost-like Pokemon has caused quite the trouble for us.
[Hi, there's now an unnamed Duskull staring at the screen and into your soul. PS: You look reaaaaally yummy. Where are you so I can eat you?]

I'd rather not talk about what I experienced as well, even if it was for a short time.
Though I'm still considered 'new' here, so... hopefully things like this are not commonplace.

I agree. There are somethings that everyone rather not speak about.
Hm, I have only been here for about a month, but according to my apprentice, there was some disaster that occurred shortly before my arrival. I hope this is only a coincidence.
Ah, but you have just arrived here, ma'am? Then you know most of the the beginner knowledge that people have provided you with, correct?
[If not, then the Professor will gladly answer any and all questions! He's quite used to introducing new people to this world now.]

I arrived yesterday. A little over halfway through Route 29 right now, if my map is right.
I've read the stuff that was given to me, yeah. So I'm aware of what to do. I've already caught a Pidgey to travel with me. [The Pidgey in question is seen running after a Hoppip in the background, attempting to peck at its head.]
The Cubone I started with doesn't seem to know any useful moves, so it's been difficult training with it so far.

Ah, that's good to hear. It is always good to another Pokemon partner along the way, and if I remember correctly, it should take about a total of three whole days to reach Cherrygrove City in the shortest time.
Cubone? I am not sure as to what they are or what they look like, but surely it knows some moves to save you in a pinch.
