[The sound of tinkering can be heard, most likely from a Pokegear being examined at different angles and someone just pushing anything that eye catching. The owner of the device doesn’t quite seem to notice that is voice recorder is on due to the fact that there is nothing but silence and those usual sounds of the Pokegear being fiddled ( Read more... )

You're no longer in London. You're in a completely different world now, just like the rest of us.

(OOC: ahhh ;_; what helps is putting a damp warm cloth over it for a few days until, as gross as it is, it pops. aaand i'll be replying with the account leafking after this 8') )

[The Professor nearly drops the Pokegear while in shock. Well, that was starling. He didn't think he'll get a reply this quickly or for a video to appear on this gadget. What kind of technology was this?]

Another world? Are you to say that we are no longer on Earth, sir?

(( OOC: Thank you for the advice~ I actually had others tell me that as well, but when I asked my doctor, he just said to leave it alone and not touch it. ;A; Yeah, if it doesn't disappear in 3 months, SURGERY AHHHHH And alright. :> ))

Though it appears similar in some fashions, it is most certainly not 'earth' as some of us know it.

Hm...Normally I would believe something like this, but that might explain these "Pokemon" creatures...

Oh, I apologize, I haven't caught your name, sir...?

It's quite on, I assure you. Oh, and there's no use in listening to that "mother" nonsense. Rather bothersome, isn't it?

[The Professor lets out a small sigh. Oh, those "mothers".]

Yes, quite bothersome and terribly confusing. I assume you had a "mother" here as well, sir?

Had a mother is correct! Though I disposed of her rather easily.

[....What...]

...Excuse me, disposed of her?

So I have been told, but it's rather hard to believe though. Traveling between worlds were mainly in fiction, but I suppose they were speaking some truth.

Are you not part of this, er, "world", too, sir?

The universe could be filled with quite new surprises, this defiantly being one of them.

Hm...That's quite strange...Has anyone figured out for what reasons we were placed here?

This country is named Johto, I believe. It is not one I have ever seen in any map, I must say.

[And now there's some vague interest in his voice.] You are from London, then?

Johto? Ah, yes. I have seen that on my given map. Though I would have hoped to find London on it instead.

Why yes, I am. May I ask where you have arrived from, sir?

[audio] shellderkillder August 23 2010, 22:24:26 UTC
I came from California, sir.

California, you say? That is located in...the United States, correct?

We're in "Johto", apparently. If you continue straight along Route 29 you should be able to reach Cherrygrove City.

It's currently unknown why we're here. Many of us have also been taken from our familiar surroundings and transported. There are rumors that the local crime syndicate are involved in these 'mass kidnappings', but for now there are reasons to remain skeptical.

Ah, that is towards the next city, correct? Thank you kindly, ma'am. I was starting to lose my way.

...Is that so? Ah, well, that's quite the trouble we have here. It seems we have landed in quite the mess, haven't we, miss...?

[Your name, ma'am~]

You may call me 'Miss Franziska von Karma'. I am the daughter of the great prosecuting genius Manfred von Karma, and I'm shortly set to follow on in his footsteps.

I'm currently investigating the leads to the truth behind this conundrum. If you are interested, I can keep you posted on my findings.

It's quite the pleasure to meet you, Miss Franziska von Karma. Ah, is this 'Manfred von Karma' located perhaps somewhere in the United States? I have not heard of him in Britian.
Prosecuting is a wonderful profession, though I wasn't aware that they allow female prosecutors in our time.

[The Professor is from around the time 1920s, so you'll have to excuse his "rudeness" for now.]

Ah, yes. That would be most helpful. I am an archeologist and a professor at that, so perhaps I could assist in any way possible.
