[ Lookie here, check out this gorgeous view of the sea. The way the water is so clear and the sun shining brightly down on it. It seems like the perfect day for a swim and the perfect day to be outside, especially on the beach. Those by the Cianwood and Olivine beach should get out right now and sit right there, just like what the good old ( Read more... )

A year? That is both admirable, and just a little sad I think. Happy anniversary then. And well wishes for whatever this second mystery one may be.

[[You've got her thinking about how long she's been here now. As well as her friends. And everyone, really. It is both an amazing thought, and a depressing one at the same time. All the things you would miss back home. All the people you don't get to speak to.

...well, not that she really misses anything from back home too much. But still.]]

As for your puzzle, I do believe he would be forty, and she would be ten as, in twenty years time, he would then be sixty and she would be thirty.

Thank you for your wishes and yes, I do have to admit that I miss London, but I have settled nicely into Johto. I have met many different people here and have enjoyed my stay here so far, so I do not mind it so much.

[ There might have been some bad times since he has been around here, especially for that one time when all the nightmares he has had turned into hallucinations, breaking his arm, dealing with Claire being alive again, but he has quite liked it here in Johto. ] And yes, that is correct! It is just like you have said, making that the right answer to the puzzle. Will you like another puzzle or exchange your picarats for prizes?

You are from London? Is it as lovely as they say? [[There's a nod as she agrees with settling into Johto.]]

It's a pleasant place for the most part. It has it's moments, but overall a most welcoming place indeed. One I wouldn't mind spending more time in. And another puzzle would be wonderful, if you wouldn't mind.

Yes, it truly is. This might be biased because I am from there, but it's a lovely city. The view from Big Ben is really breathtaking. [ Not like the average person can go up into Big Ben and take a look outside, but then again, the Professor isn't just an average person. ]

If you have any questions about Johto, I will be more than glad to help and splendid. Here is another puzzle for fifteen picarats once again:

"What is once in a minute, twice in a moment, and never in a thousand years?"

Mmm, I'm certain it would be, bias or not. I admit to having wanted to visit there one day. [[That's alright. It's not like Rose is any wiser of this fact.]]

Thank you, and... [[This takes her a bit of thought, and a bit of counting on her fingers, but eventually she smiles in confidence.]] ...that would be the letter M, right? Minute is spelled with one m, moment with two, but a thousand years does not own a single one.

If you ever have the chance, you should most definitely visit. I am positive that a tour guide will show you breathtaking sights.

And you are correct once again! The puzzle itself can be quite misleading with time, but you have solved it magnificently. Critical thinking is the key to success.

Mmm, that would be nice.

Thank you. Having a brother well versed in time certainly assists with things related to it. Such as realizing it has nothing to do with the question being asked.

These are enjoyable.

Ah, what does your brother do, may I ask? [ That seems like quite an interesting subject to verse into. ]

I have quite the number of puzzles memorized, so please, do not hesitate to ask for another if you wish.

He composes and remixes music, as well as raps. Many times he improvises on the spot, meaning he needs an excellent sense in rhythm, beat and time, though he also seems to simply have a very natural sense of time as well.

Oh, I would end up keeping you here all day, I'm sure.

So, he is a musician. That sounds quite the profession that he has, though I'm afraid I do not know what "raps" are. [ Besides, y'know, striking on hard surfaces, but he's pretty sure she's talking about something else. ]

Haha, well, I'm afraid I have plans for the day, but I do not mind sharing more puzzles.

Mmm...do you know what poetry is? [[It's hard to fathom you would not know what rapping is, with how prominent it is in the musical industry. Please tell her you know poetry.]]

Well, a few more couldn't hurt then.

Yes, of course. Does it have to do with poetry? [ Sorry, he's from 1935. Rap won't be invented for another fifty years or so. ]

Ah, fantastic. This one is twenty-five picarats this time:

"How many times can you subtract the number five from twenty-five?"
