The Profiler Fans 2012 Secret Santa Exchange
Fall is in the air and the holidays are around the corner which means that it's time for Secret Santa Signups!!!!!
Many of you are familiar with Secret Santa, but for those who aren't, here's how it works. Copy and fill out the template in a comment to this post. At the sign-up deadlline, you'll be matched with a recipient. Then using their template, you'll create a gift or gifts, depending on your time, inspiration, etc, which you'll post to the community in a seperate post. This is pretty much like all the other gift exchanges out there, except you'll get something Profiler!
The Guidelines:
1) In terms of gift offerings -- if you can make it, the sky's the limit! Fics, drabbles, icons, wallpapers, mp3 fanmixes, vids... you get the idea, just showcase your talents. *G*
2) Crossover fics/icons/etc. are fine, as long as they have a majority Profiler-ish element in them (and as long as your giver is familiar with the fandom), so be sure to list what you'd like to cross or see crossed.
3) No one is expected to produce a novel length fic or dozens of icons. However, please aim for 3 or 4 icons or an icon and a wallpaper in the case of artwork. Fics should be a minimum of around 500 words in total. Drabbles and ficlets make excellent gifts and are welcome, just consider writing two or three for your person. Feel free to combine art and fic gifts like an icon and a short story or a wallpaper and drabble.
4) In case anyone is unable to complete their gift, back-ups are needed. Please let me know if you can pinch hit!
The Deadlines:
Sign-ups: The deadline for signing up is 5 p.m. EST Wednesday, November 14th - that will give you over a month to make your gift. Six weeks should be plenty of time to create your presents. Extensions for sign-ups and gifts may be given if you contact me and we discuss it first :o)
Posting: People may post gifts starting Saturday, December 1st and the deadline for posting will be on Wednesday, December 19th.
Posting will be moderated during December and all Secret Santa posts will be held until Monday, December 24th. That way everyone will get their gifts at the same time and we'll know ahead of time of any back ups are needed.
