I really liked this story, you did such a wonderful job fleshing out everything. And I liked your version of Grace's past, you gave her a nice rich full history that she deserved.

I just had to give her someone aside from Morgan (who seems SO boring). There really is more to her than a medical degree, you know, and I wanted to let her shine in the field ... and also to let her fall down and make mistakes and do things that we wouldn't think of as typically Grace.

that makes sense...and she does have a lot more than a medical degree. You did a wonderful job with it :) I hope you write more stories with Grace and maybe Zane soon :)

This was a really well written piece. I like that you made Zane multi-dimensional and that he blended so well with Grace as if he really belonged in her life :) Nice work!

thanks muchly ...I tried to give Zane a life of his own and, like Tom Waters in my backstory on Sam, I found him to be really fun to write ...

besides, Grace needed someone before Morgan and he had to have been more exciting than an accountant!
