That last bit basically summed up my feelings when the announcement came out. PLvsAA is what I want most, though.

This is the first time I've been super hyped for a Pokemon game since Diamond/Pearl. Simultaneous worldwide release is great; now I can play through the game without being tempted to spoil myself.

I do want PL vs AA more, even if I'm less hyped about it. Pokemon was always going to come out on 3DS eventually, but it's been (I think) two years since PL vs AA was announced, and still no official word on a western release. :(

Maybe the plan is to release PL vs AA this year, and then release Azran Legacies next year? One can only hope. *crosses fingers and toes*

I doubt that we'll see it this year, but I definitely hope that it'll be here by 2014.

Still waiting for PL vs PW. I thought it sold pretty good in Japan, but this article says differently. Still, I'm sure it would do amazingly well for a niche title here.

PL vs AA will need to be marketed well in the west, methinks. Since Layton does sell well in Europe, perhaps they should focus on the fact that he's in the game. "A new adventure featuring Professor Layton!" or something along those lines.

Yessssss. I sure hope it'll be out next year! Since localisation seems to always take more than 1 year I hope it'll be faster this time round. *fingers and toes crossed*

Btw, would you know anything about the Miracle Mask+? Since I haven't gotten the game yet I wonder if I should just wait for the plus version for the extra goodies. No idea if the plus version will be localised though ugh.

No idea about Miracle Mask+. I don't see it coming out in English any time soon though, I'd imagine they at least would wait for all 365 of the daily puzzles to be released first, which means... at least November this year.
