So, does anyone mind explaining what REALLY happened to Mr. Barde? I found the ending of Last Specter not clear, perhaps leaving up to the player to determine the truth. Was it really an accident?

iirc it was a setup by jakes. one of his goons lured him up there and pushed him off when he felt reasonably certain that no one was around. i don't think he was planning on having witnesses, which is why clark was bribed into silence.
