Layton-y decor
Hello, Laytonites!
I am in need of some assistance in the world of color. I am moving to a new apartment soon and I would like a Layton living room. That said, I don't want a boatload of photos of Layton (perhaps a few), but really a Layton game color/decor scheme. The only problem is that I like BRIGHT colors.
I have a lovely orange/red chair and footstool (like the Prof's hatband) and a brown leather loveseat, but I'm hesitant about having a lot of dark things. I want it to look eloquent, but me. I have stereotypical feminine tastes.
Have any ideas for me? What colors remind you of these games? What bright color might I balance the dark with? What kind of OBJECTS remind you of the game and time-period (clocks, cogs, feathers, pearls, etc...)
