Apologies & Some Brief Entertainment

Well, as you all may know, I attempted to post a puzzle I'd created myself, which inevitably was doomed to fail. ^^U I did spend quite some time refining it, and editing the pictures in Photoshop... Yet that's beside the point. ^^U No one was pleased with it, and I apologize for offending those who participated. ; - ; (Please don't hate me.)

May I suggest something? Stop being so apologetic. You said so yourself that you need a place to talk about your obsession -this is a great place to do just that- so why are you so timid? There is no need to explain what you're doing - just do it.

I second Enerjak's comment. Your puzzle wasn't any kind of idiocy. Of course you have a ways to go before you can construct a really sound puzzle that's simultaneously difficult but worded properly. That said, you're taking on a pretty daunting task, and I admire your effort. If anything, you should motivate yourself to write more and improve. You might be the next Akira Tago!:D

To answer your question though...eh, I wouldn't say the PL series was LIFE CHANGING, but it did affect me in two important ways.

1. It gave me a degree of renewed passion in something. Instead of boys, I need to be in love with games (their gameplay, their aesthetic qualities, and their environments). If I don't feel sufficiently attached to a game like that, life sucks, and for a long time, I couldn't get hooked onto anything. Then PL came along, and now, some inspirational energy has returned to me.

2. It takes those word/math/critical thinking puzzles I used to love as a little kid, and places them in the context of this totally charming and unique world. One thing I fear is the degradation of my mind to mush as I age, so the PL games are great motivation for me to set time aside time to train my brain to think in new, interesting ways.

Thanks... That's something I suppose I'll need to improve upon. ; - ; I've always been quite apologetic... I'm not sure of how to break the habit, either.

Well, I'm glad that it's at least impacted your life in some positive ways... Though personally, I'd say it was indeed life-changing~. ^^
