Why I hate Japan
How would you like a chance to see some of Japan's top voice talent live for free? Not good enough? Okay, what if you were to walk home with a sealed copy of one of the holiday season's biggest titles?
Level-5 is offering Professor Layton fans such a chance through its latest promotion. The Fukuoka-based developer/publisher will be holding a completion ceremony next month for Professor Layton and the Magic Flute. Different from most completion ceremonies, which are usually press-only affairs, 1,000 fans are being invited to attend. And different from most fan-events, where attendees usually walk home with a few pieces of cheap swag, Level-5 will be giving everyone a retail copy of Magic Flute!
In addition to the free game, attendees will get to view talk events featuring the game's well known voice staff, including Yo Oizumi and Maki Horikita. Yuko Ando will perform the Magic Flute ending theme live. There'll also be some download content on hand for those who bring their DS with them.
