It's been a while. Some of you might know me, and some of you may not, but I guess that doesn't really matter. ^^;
Now, recently I've been quite the lurker. School's been caving in on me and the like, but that doesn't mean I've been looking around the Net for any info on the Professor Layton series. On one occasion, I was playing around with looking at 'sources' and the like, (You know, 'right-click' and 'view source' ... a lot of people get info that way.) and accidentally stumbled upon some things by Level 5 I apparently... really wasn't supposed to see...
I felt it'd be in their best interests for me to contact them. So I sent an email stating that they may have less security in their Hub than they first thought.
They contacted me back, just yesterday.

We understand that you have come across plot points extremely significant to the Professor Layton series. We would like to thank you for keeping this information entirely confidential, and for contacting us on this matter. However, we feel that if an incident such as this were to happen again, it would be difficult to market our games under those circumstances.
We have received reports that some hackers in Japan have gained confidential information on the upcoming DS game "Professor Layton and the Devil's Flute." Already, much of our Japanese audiences has been exposed to the plot, including the ending. We can only assume that it will not be long until English-speaking areas of the world will learn of these factors as well.
As a result, LEVEL 5 has decided to pull "Professor Layton and the Devil's Flute." We have decided to overhaul the plot entirely to maintain secrecy, and will no longer post up official art and/or plotpoints on an online hub. Hopefully, we will be able to maximise security to the highest standard so as to stop this incident repeating itself.

I don't really know what to say about this... I mean, I understand that this happens to companies like SEGA all the time, but is it really worth pulling a game over?
