I'm not sure if everyone's seen this, but I recently stumbled across the Japanese site for the sequel, Professor Layton and The Devil's Box. I'm assuming everyone can't read katakana, so the only bits you can really utilize would be the trailers (6th box from the left, I believe) and the playable demo (the button that says "web

Though I may be mistaken...I think that this was annouced for the US. Does anyone know for certain?

I think I read somewhere the North America release date is around November this year. Not sure though.

Uh-duh me! Looked at level5 and there it was, clear as day:

'The final page of the instruction manual for Professor Layton and the Curious Village confirms that the next game in the series will come to the U.S.

In the Japanese version of the game, there's a secret password entry screen that can only be unlocked by playing the sequel, called Professor Layton And The Devil's Box in Japan.

That same feature is in the U.S. game, and the instruction manual specifically says that the password "will be revealed in the sequel," so take that as your official confirmation.'
