Barbra Streisand will produce and star in the new movie rearrangement of Sondheim/Laurents musical "Gypsy".
Twice Oscar-winner Streisand will star as Mama Rose (previously played on stage and screen by such tallents as Ethel Merman, Angela Lansbury, Bette Midler and Bernadette Peters) while the screenplay will be written by none other then "Downton Abbey" and "Gosford Park" creator Jullian Fellowes!
