... and apparently I also can't resist doing them on my LJ instead of on tumblr. (I'll spare my followers from the tl;dr-ness of my posts. It'll probably make everyone happier.) This meme was apparently intended for FE9/10 only, but I'm just going to ignore that and do it for all FE games instead
1 - Canon OTP
Pent/Louise! I think I might just have a thing for happily married couples. They're rarer than you'd expect in most media, actually, and I guess I'm just a romantic sap or something because I usually gravitate toward happy fluffy pairs (... or, well, at the very least ones where both parts would be happy and rarely, if ever, argue once they actually got together - I still love UST and such and there are exceptions but uhhh this is off-topic).
I usually don't care much for love-at-first-sight stories, but in the case of Pent and Louise, it just seems adorable and Louise's support with Rebecca brought a tear to my eye. ;w; I love them both as standalone characters as well; Louise is cutesy, slightly ditzy and motherly while Pent is just an all-around nice, if slightly nerdy, guy. Also I have a total girl!crush on Louise that might impact my decision

3 - One Pairing To Rule Them All
... I assume this means a villain/villain pairing, and not that it's another way of saying OTP because that would just be incredibly redundant
I can't think of very many pairings like that in FE, though? I mean, there's like... Sephiran/Zelgius, maybe, but I don't really ship it.

4 - Femslash
This is really hard to answer because I honestly have no idea how to pick a favorite. There are just too many to choose from, okay
There's Heather/girls and Lucia/Elincia and Tethys/Marisa and Eirika/L'Arachel and recently I've become really really fond of Lyn/Florina a-and idk, for some reason I ship a lot of femslash
But since my only real crackship already involves Heather, I think I'll go with Lyn/Florina. They have the whole childhood friends turned lovers thing going on, which is sort of a guilty pleasure of mine (or wait is that even a guilty pleasure?), but it actually took me a while to warm up to the ship because I've always had a hard time understanding Florina's character. In the end, though, Florina seems a lot more at ease around Lyn than pretty much anybody else (which is one thing that made me like her more), Lyn is very protective of Florina, and the pairing is just really adorable.
5 - Laguz/Laguz
Going to go with Nailah/Rafiel here~ Aside from the gender role reversal, I'm just really fond of Nailah's character - she has the same kind of bluntness I love about Ike which pretty much immediately made her one of my favorite new RD characters. As for Rafiel... to be honest, I think herons in general make for a lot of interesting fluffy romantic moments because, I mean, they're pretty much winged bards who look like angels, how is that not romantic lol i don't actually know anything about romance though But yeah, I think they also have an "opposites attract" thing going on - which I usually don't care much for, but I just think it works really well for this particular ship because instead of fighting over their differences, they both enjoy and appreciate what makes the other different.
6 - Angst Ship
So, uh, that thing I said about not usually liking unhappy couples? Yeah. That still holds true. I can only think of one "angst ship" I'm even mildly interested in, and that would be Eliwood/Fiora (which I can't imagine not being at least somewhat angsty, because it seems to me like Eliwood would never completely get over Ninian). Still, it's a very casual ship and I'm not too sure about how I should argue for it - I think it might have been that Eliwood seemed less naive and more aware of his own faults in their supports than he usually does, which wasn't something I expected from him? Yeah, I don't know.
(Actually now I'm kind of wondering if Serra/Lucius, which I ship more than Eliwood/Fiora, wouldn't turn out angsty in the end? Huh. I don't think I've even read any fics involving the two, but I'm really curious.)
7 - Cute Ship
... I think Pelleas/Micaiah wins this one. Pelleas has a very obvious crush on her and they both fully trust each other, which might be a large part of why I find them so adorable. And, um, I guess there's always the wish fulfillment angle of Pelleas' somewhat childish ~hero worship crush~ on her actually becoming something more. ... they're both really sweet when it comes down to it, though.
(I feel like I can't even say too much without retreading old ground, here, so this'll have to do even if it's really short ;_;)
8 - If Only (x didn’t die)
Um. I-I don't think I have a really srs FE ship!!! involving a dead character? The first thing that pops into my mind is Lyon/Eirika or Lyon/Ephraim (or Lyon/Eirika/Ephraim for that matter); but, even then, it'd have to be a very casual ship (that I also haven't read any fics for, sooo) and I'm still incredibly confused by Lyon as a character. Seriously, how do I even explain this? I mean, Lyon->Eirika and Lyon->Ephraim is pretty much canon, but still. I think I just need to play FE8 more before I can really form a cohesive opinion. (Wait, I never have cohesive opinions)

For some weird reason I don't really have very many FE slash ships (I have like... maybe 5-6?) and I'm saving the obvious answer for the 15:th question, which makes choosing something kind of hard. No, actually, it makes it very hard.
Uuuhm I've started liking Edward/Leonardo lately, though I'll admittedly have a really hard time talking about the pair without stealing other people's headcanon or something since I haven't really thought much about it all, which apparently goes for pretty much all of my slash ships that aren't Ike/Soren. Oh, except for the fact that this is yet another best-friends-turned lovers ship! Yay.
10 - Branded/Branded

honestly the only ones I can think of that even interact in the games are Stefan/Soren, Micaiah/Soren (both of which break up my OTP, so no thanks) and Micaiah/Zelgius (which breaks up Micaiah/Pelleas, I'm just really picky ok)

10 - Princess/Knight or Prince/Knight
So even though I changed it, I still don't have much to discuss because I already talked about Geoffrey/Elincia here. I'm going to give a honorable mention to Guinevere/Miledy, though. unsurprisingly, I have a girl!crush on Guinevere (why are FE characters so pretty), and honestly I can totally see Miledy having one too
(Also just in case somebody who isn't me reads this and decides to do the meme and finds this question too constraining, there's always Royalty/Non-Royalty, which gives you plenty of options~)

Heather/Fiona, obviously, which isn't even my idea but still. This is actually a bit of an exception to my rule of "no drama/arguing ships", because I can see it having quite a bit of drama. Either way, I think it could potentially develop them both as characters (having Fiona eventually come out of the closet and Heather sort of deal with her commitment issues, even though I love her as a character the way she is), and I just find it interesting~! I think Fiona's reluctance to admit to liking girls would be cute, too. ... though I'm no expert when it comes to this pair, obviously, so I probably can't comment too much. orz
My problem with crackships is that I kind of have the creativity of a dead baby panda when it comes to most things so I don't usually think of headcanon for pairings myself, meaning I very rarely, if ever, come up with crackships. But I digress.
(Heather is kind of a goldmine for crackships, though. I'm partial to Heather/Mia now, because I saw some art of it and now I can definitely see them being friends with benefits)

I am a boring person and therefore I can't really think of anything good to write here because I don't really ship Foe Yay most of the time. (I mean, Heather/Fiona sort of almost counts since they're on opposing armies, or maybe not really because Heather wouldn't hurt a girl either way. I'm not sure)
If I had to pick, I guess I'd choose Innes/Ephraim, but that would probably be for mostly shallow reasons and because I kind of like rival ships, even if you couldn't tell by my usual shipping preferences.

Normally, a guilty pleasure ship would probably be some kind of inherently OOC ship or, alternatively, shipping two characters based mostly on their looks, neither of which I do that often. I guess my Foe Yay pairing comes pretty close, though?
15 - Noncanon OTP
Ike/Soren, my ~OTP to end all OTPs~. Yeah, it's subtexty to the point that it's ridiculous, but it's technically not canon, so it goes under this category.
I could rant about how I love the way Ike is completely accepting of Soren's co-dependency issues, how they're both determined to protect the other no matter the cost, how they care for each other more than for anyone else, how Ike always supports and comforts Soren, how they're both adorably snarky and blunt, how loyal to each other they are, how Soren only ever trusts Ike and their friendship is so cute and asdskdskjr;
They're just so unromantically romantic and I don't even know why that makes sense but it definitely does ♥
But, uh, I think I should just link this post or something, even if it's very poorly written (I can't write to save my life, not even rants about my OTP).
