Saw The Blind Banker and The Great Game today. Must say, having now seen all of Sherlock... I'm still meh. Benedict Cumberbatch's uber-bass voice has grown on me, though. HE'S LIKE A WEE ALAN RICKMAN. And Martin Freeman is always wonderful. But mostly, I felt like Sherlock and Moriarty-- bored. It's well-done, there's no doubt, but it's simply not my cuppa.
The sequence where they fight the Gollum in the planetarium, though? Holy shit. Now that is how you shoot a fucking scene.
In other news, I FINALLY get to start watching Secret Diary of a Call Girl tomorrow! The first dvd has been waiting in my mailbox since Thursday, but I've been off-campus.
