This was delightful and funny and incredibly sweet and charming and perfect.
I ate my breakfast while I read this and I literally choked on my granola more than once because I was laughing so hard. I love these two so much.
First of all, I love (as usual) all your little inclusions from canon, like applegrass and Cat Nuns and Bad wolf and in particular the Dalek/Cyberman war via a Star Wars/Star Trek feud. BRILLIANT work there. I was laughing so hard and it's just soooooo Doctor. I love it.
My favourite part was the bit about the sonic screwdriver though (again brilliant tie in), and in particular, this line: I think your concept of how screwdrivers work is flawed.” *sporfle*
Loved the spanish poem he read to Rose and how perfectly in sync they were throughout.
Oh, and just the idea of Jackie in a comic store? LMAO forever! Plus then you threw in the DAYS reference and I howled some more (I used to watch it in HS and it's so true - no one stays dead on that show - like ever).
I love these little snippets of them connecting through video chats, SO much. I love that they're such a huge part of each other's lives and I love that you slipped Toy Story 3 in there too - the Doctor has SO seen it! *giggle*
Very sweet and fun and delightful story. Please keep writing in this universe 'cause these two are just too wonderful and you are just far too talented for you not to.
