Snape made sure everything was in place in the other room, before returning to the main room for Remus. He wasn't exactly sure what he was doing, if this was supposed to be romantic, or just something he wanted to share with Remus. Either way, it left him nervous enough that his palms were actually sweating

Remus, as was his wont, showed up about five minutes before six o'clock at the prescribed place, wearing a coat over his buttondown shirt. "Hello, Severus."

Severus turned on his heel, smiling at Remus. "Punctual as ever. Hello, Remus."

Remus wasn't quite sure what to do in that moment. He and Snape were... something. They'd shagged, and even agreed to testing out a relationship. Should he greet the other man with a hug? A kiss? Snape wasn't the only one inexperienced with this sort of thing. Finally he just nodded to the door. "I've been curious all day."

Snape had been unsure of what to do himself, so he'd stood there doing nothing, hoping Lupin had a clue as to the protocol.

He smiled with relief when Lupin nodded toward door. "After you."

Severus stepped back, opening the door and holding it open for Remus. The timing couldn't have been more perfect. The sunset was just as beautiful as the night before.

Just inside the room, there's also a small fire burning, with a futon placed comfortably in front of the fire, along with a picnic basket.
